External works to include demolition of rear extension; removal of -soil pipes, metal fire escapes, metal chimneys to rear, existing sky lights on southern extension, kitchen extract hood/chimney to rear and light fittings; replacement of -all windows and doors with double-glazed timber windows and doors, all roof tiles and flat roof coverings, all existing extract vents, rear roof lights with repositioned smaller conservation style window lights, glazed ground floor roof lanterns with double-glazed timber lanterns, and rooflights to ground floor rear extension; alterations to -ground floor window configurations to create door openings to side and rear and fire escape doors to windows to rear, openings with brickwork recesses on ground floor side elevation; raising height of ground floor rear flat roof and insertion of lantern rooflights; new -rear ground floor windows, mechanical vent grilles to front, rear and sides, rear first floor window openings, rear second floor dormer windows and roof lights above fire escape stairs and to rear. Internal works to include creation of new ground floor openings, removal and partial removal of ground floor walls, creation of new first floor openings, creation of new second floor openings, removal of second floor wall, removal of areas of lath and plaster ceilings and installation of new suspended plaster ceilings throughout, utilisation of the existing attic space to create additional first and second floor accommodation, reinstatement of second floor fireplace surround, and replacement stair within front tower.
