T1 - Crab Apple - mature spreading tree in confined rear courtyard garden - to re-pollard cutting new growth back to previous pollard pruning points - thereby reducing canopy by 2m. Reason - continuing management of tree in small garden as now too large and reduce impact of overhang to neighbouring properties. T2 - Olive - upper canopy died back leaving only few live shoots on main stem and therefore to pollard to just above these lower shoots in an attempt to save the tree and encourage regrowth.Reason - declining health and to reduce risk of limb failure onto patio and path.
