Group of 4 x Cherry trees (T1 - T4) located on the NE Field in front of Mountbatten House - to dismantle, fell and grind out stumps. Reason - 2 of these trees (T2 & T4) have severe leaf loss and are dying, the other 2 (T1 & T3) are in poor form and are declining. These trees are near bench seats and in close proximity to the field hedge lines. There is a tree replacement program in place to create a new tree avenue to match the other trees on adjacent field. This is part of a long term arboricultural management plan to create a legacy and improve the overall treescape of this vital landscape in this historic location.
